He sang on a Beyoncé track, appeared on Punk'd, and netted four nominations at the American Billboard Association with his '05 release, Trinity. Converting to Rastafarianism inspired a more thoughtful approach to his songwriting, leading to the acclaimed 'Til Shiloh. Unfortunately this newfound spirituality wouldn't last, and he would be indicted on drug and weapons charges in '09.
